Please reach out to us if you cannot find an answer to your question.
There is no need for a referral. Simply call for a free telephone consult. We will learn more about your child's needs and help you understand if this diagnostic evaluation is right for you.
If you have records from medical specialists, previous therapies or from a Child Study Team evaluation, all of these can help us to understand your child. If not, don't worry! We will work together to help you connect to the services you need.
This comprehensive evaluation happens in three parts:
Week 1. Interview with the parent, to gather information about the child's current concerns and early development. This can be in person or by telehealth.
Week 2. Evaluation with the child, which takes a total of about two hours. We look to schedule this for a time of day when your child is rested and not hungry or tired.
Week 3. Feedback session with the parent. We will explain the results of the evaluation, and discuss recommendations for next steps. This is a chance to ask any questions you may have.
We realize that this is a daunting process, and feel that it's important to take time to give parents all the support and guidance you need.
If your child is struggling, with language, behavior or social interaction, it can be a confusing time. An evaluation is the first step toward finding out if you or your child or loved one has autism spectrum disorder. At Pathways Evaluations, we believe that knowledge is crucial to helping him grow and flourish. A good diagnostic evaluation can put your child on the path to success.
